I started my career over 25 years ago with an
unpaid internship at a small hotel in Victoria,
BC. I fell in love with the industry and quickly
decided that I wanted to pursue it as a career.
While attending college, I was introduced to
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (then Canadian
Paci昀椀c Hotels). The incredible properties, their
commitment to service, and their values were
an immediate draw. At that moment, I set my
sights on becoming a General Manager with
Fairmont.

We are able to uniquely straddle between
being a city-centre hotel and a resort. Our
location is conveniently located downtown and
steps away from the convention centre, but
when you are in the back gardens overlooking
the beautiful river valley, you feel completely
removed from the city in our own urban oasis.

I am an avid cyclist. One of the 昀椀rst things I did
when I moved here was explore the beautiful
trails in our river valley. With over 160
kilometers of trails, it is the largest contiguous
area of urban parkland in the country.
Edmonton is rich with culture and on any given
night there are plenty of options to appeal to a
wide variety of interests.
