SOUS CHEF AT
3030 OCEAN
MEET
FIORELLA
URIBE
Born in the vibrant city of Lima, Peru, Fiorella
Uribe discovered her passion for cooking at
just seven years old, standing on a wooden
stool beside her Spanish grandmother.
Sundays in her grandmother’s kitchen were a
feast of tradition—an aromatic fusion of
Spanish heritage and Peruvian soul.
Surrounded by the scents of garlic, paprika,
and ají amarillo, Fiorella unknowingly took her
昀椀rst steps toward a lifelong culinary journey.
At 17, Fiorella moved with her mother and
brother to New Jersey in search of a better
future. With no English but a 昀椀erce
determination, she became a caregiver and
cook for her family, pouring love and hope
into every dish. Her resilience led her to
Atlantic Cape Community College’s Culinary
Arts Program, where she immersed herself
in the craft—working across diverse kitchens,
cultures, and cuisines.
Today, Fiorella brings that same passion, grit,
and global perspective to 3030 Ocean, where
seafood takes center stage. Her cooking is
deeply personal, inspired by the guests she
serves and the stories they share. She believes
in connecting through food—learning what
people love, where they come from, and
weaving those elements into every plate.
In the kitchen, Fiorella leads with heart. Her
team is more than coworkers—they’re family.
Together, they grow, challenge one another,
and infuse every dish with intention and care.
“What can I create to
make someone smile
with every bite?”

Her mission is simple: cook with purpose,
lead with love, and honor her roots. As her
grandmother always said, “Every opportunity
is a big step for the future.”
For Fiorella, being a chef is more than a
profession—it’s a calling. It’s waking up each
day and asking, “What can I create to make
someone smile with every bite?” And it’s a
path she would choose again, every single day.
