Thousands of bees are buzzing around you at Fairmont Olympic Hotel! The Fairmont Olympic Bee
Program started in 2009 and has saved more than 180,000 bees. Bees are the most effective
pollinators on the planet, but the fragmentation and loss of their habitats leave hundreds of
thousands of bees without nesting and breeding areas. creating new habitats, known as bee
hotels, is crucial for the long-term survival of the species. Our rooftop houses a special beehive
for these important residents. Our bees produce a natural, raw honey which we use in our restaurants and bars.
